Why did Clinton sign the Republicans written NAFTA bill? He has since admitted guilt and said it was a mistake.

   Only a hypocritical Republican would care about another persons sex life. He signed NAFTA, because it was in the best interest of corporations.

   A few facts. First, Bill Clinton did not make a mistake. Putting your shoes on the wrong feet is a mistake. Having an extramarital affair is not "making a mistake" it is committing a bad act. There is a big difference. Mistakes are unintentional. We have to stop letting politicians use this word when what they should be apologizing for is doing something deliberately wrong.

   Second, Clinton was not impeached for having sex with anyone. He was impeached for lying under oath and suborning perjury by asking Lewinsky to lie under oath. The circumstance is aggravated by the fact that he was a member of the Bar. Which, I might add, disbarred him as well.

   Clinton signed the Nafta Bill because he believed it was in the best interest of America to do so. I refer you to Al Gore vs. Ross Perot debate on the subject. Gore was Clinton’s Vice President at the time.
