If Democrats went all the way, we would have universal healthcare right now.
Instead, they pandered to Republican morons.

if the new direction is perfectly fine with the majority of the people and I, I could care less what the libs in congress think.

The US would be nation building in 10 more countries
Pornography and masturbation would be illegal
Christianity would be the national religion
We would have a giant wall around the 48 states

For the most part we haven’t gone in a new direction. Thank God the republicans aren’t handling the BP disaster. They advocated for the American taxpayer to cover the cost.

Remember that scene in Kill Bill 2, when Beatrix Kiddo yanks Elle Driver’s one and only eye out, and Elle goes batshit in the trailer, blindly flailing around, drooling, kicking, screaming and calling Beatrix a beotch? The left would react something like that.

I guess we would have a "logans run" scenerio if Republicans went all the way. After all, liberals have historically always caused more harm than good in America.
It stems from the basics of thier ideology. Libs use government as a tool to supposedly improve everyone’s lives, and the Constitution itself along with almost all writen material from the founding fathers is strictly against government having that kind of control.

If a party has control of the Presidency and Congress, it will get much of its agenda passed.
Those are the rules.
As you recall, the Bush Administration had that opportunity.

Well, I would hope a new President and Congress would do so, providing they read the freaking legislation before they pass it.

The voters decided they preferred the direction Democrats were advocating.
Republicans were invited to take part but chose to be the party of "no" instead.
You are just teed off because you have been outmanouvered at every step.

Maybe the New Republicans can do what the NJ Governor Christie is doing….balancing the budget, not raising taxes, asking ALL depts. to make X% reduction in their current budget. Less Gov’t, keep business from going over seas, fight the unions (Christie is fighting the teachers union because they don’t want to make any sacrifices for the budget cuts but the Teachers union has spend over 10 million dollars of their dues to run ads against Christie…lol I would be mad to find out that my union boss spent MY dues on stupid ads.) Strengthen our borders with our military with
AK-47s., lastly, follow the Constitution that our fore fathers wrote.
