July 42010
Republican Congressional candidate William “Bill” Randall is suggesting that the Obama Administration and BP conspired to intentionally spill oil in the Gulf, resulting in 11 deaths and the worst environmental disaster in the nation’s history. Randall, who has aligned himself with the Tea Party movement, readily admits that he has no evidence that what he says is true. But that is not stopping him from from making the claim as he campaigns for in the June 22 GOP runoff to face incumbent Democratic Rep. Brad Miller on the November ballot. Video is from News 14 Carolina.

I like this guy. He has my vote.

On the other hand, …
On the other hand, Queen, Obama’s fans think Obama should get a free pass on everything, and if anyone questions him, they are called a “racist”. I didn’t hear Randall even mention Obama’s name or his administration in this discussion. My interpretation was that he meant MMS. Why is it a problem that he is suggesting it be investigated? Should not EVERY possibility be investigated? In this day and age, NO ONE should get a free pass. I live in Bill’s district, and he gets my vote.
July 4th, 2010 at 6:07 pm
Oh please… This …
Oh please… This man is out for votes. He thinks everyone is anti Obama… and that bashing Obama will draw in voters. People like REPUBLICAN Bill Randall have no business in office and honestly they need to take a step back, look around and and figure out who’s side they’re on.

“This is purely …
“This is purely speculative and not based on any fact.” Isn’t that every teabagger’s motto?

Looks like BP and …
Looks like BP and MMS knew about the problems as far back as Feb. So, it appears that BP and MMS (Obama) would both benefit in working together to cover their butts. On the other hand, BP has been a leading oil company in alternative energy for years so in order to explore all possibilities I’d say this should be examined. Since (as libs say) evil is done “all in the name of profit” it’s possible that BP might would allow this to happen.

@rwoodward61
I would buy that theory in a heart beat. It’s what I was thinking. This is far too strange and coincidental. Even if the spill does not cause the passing of cap and trade now it will most likely set in motion the wheels to pass something either by congress or by usurping it via the EPA or something.

Of course this was …
Of course this was done on purpose. Follow the money!! BP (aka Beyond Petroleum) has billions invested in green energy. Barry Obama and his gangsta buddies are all ready and have all the business models in place to reap the rewards of cap and trade. Cap and Trade is what is needed to jump start the green movement. An oil spill is what was badly needed to resurrected the dead cap and trade bill. Wake-up sheeple.

@nycistanbul And …
@nycistanbul And what is your point? The Exxon Valdez was a ship with a finite amount of oil not an oil well that continues to leak.

Randall is being …
Randall is being honest. It is not such a far fetched or nutter idea to think that there was some sort of collusion to create an oil leak. There are certainly enough fanatical people opposed to drilling that by creating a leak would stop drilling. It is gutsy to speculate like this because as we all know, candidates play it safe.

@deronrb
That’s …
@deronrb
That’s strange you sound like me? I’ll admit what Mr. Randall said was not a good idea but it in no way defines him as a person. There is something funny going on, I think that BP and obo are now working together because they both screwed up which makes sense.
As far as Nixon forward you need to read End the Fed…if you’re an intellectual liberal you should read it or another book related to the gold standard.
July 4th, 2010 at 6:07 pm
@mbhopp What on …
@mbhopp What on earth did I say that’s racist or lefty? And the only one who is a loon is the one who says “This is purely speculative and not based on any fact” and then goes on to say that ANYONE purposely caused the oil spill. Whether it’s accusing Obama or BP or whomever. The politicians are using this to divide us. Why? So we won’t unite against them. All of them, democrat or republican, have their own personal best interest in mind. If we don’t stand up for ours we’re screwed.
July 4th, 2010 at 6:07 pm
@mbhopp I couldn’t …
@mbhopp I couldn’t agree more. Every president from Richard Nixon forward, Dem and Repub, has announced that for our economy, our national security, and maintaining our wealth, the US has to remove its dependence on fossil fuels. This is every president since the 1970′s. And where are we still today? The government needs to quit subsidizing these oil corporations. And yes, we, as Americans, need to be investing in renewable energy!

@timoteotime Thank …
@timoteotime Thank you and this needs to be investigated and I’m sure it will after the November elections. The truth is that all establishment in both parties (okay 98%) are in bed with big money and speicial interest groups.
You can bet that BP (or a subsidiary of) will come out a winner in the “Green Jobs” push. But because America refuses to beleive the our gov’t would ever do such a thing it will be ignored. Just like Cheney and Haliburton, Obama is doing the same
July 4th, 2010 at 6:07 pm
@airborne373 …
@airborne373 Exactly, lets not forget that MLK was a republican as are most of his family still. Lets not forget that after LBJ’s “great society” that abortion was past shortly after (which are 40% of annual abortions), drugs and violence now ravage their neighborhoods and 92% vote democrat….more than any other race. Nor should we forget that the WV democrat senator was a high ranking member of the KKK at the time….nahhh it’s probably just coincidence right?

While I agree with the basic statement you have Mr. Randall all wrong. Myself and and about 100 other regular citizens interviewed, questioned and recorded him prior to endorsing him. Money knows no party affiliation or left vs. right. This is stuff made up by bankers and the establishment to divide people. Unfortuantely you can’t seem to understand this.

Brilliant…what an intelligent conversation. Obama is in the worst pickle of his pathetic politiical career and I’d say it’s getting to you. It took 55+ days for the Obama administration to release the Jones act to allow foreign ships to help the USA out in the gulf…it took BOOOOOSH 5 days.
Both parties are in bed with big money banks and special interest groups and all you can do is insult this man?
