   yesterday when i was in college, my teacher was talking about the the ultimate objectives of college vs. k-12. it shocked the out of me… k-12’s objective was to socialize students into the “culture” and to make them obedient of the laws and the government. EXACT WORDS! i was shocked, i thought that schools exist to teach people about sciences and facts only

   Funny how …
   Funny how republicans criticize a democratic president for addressing school children, but dont make a stink when republican presidents do (Regan and Bush).
   Seems to me that Ron Paul must think that the American government is more incompetent that other governments. Most european nations have public school systems that are run by the government (same in Canada where I live) and all have better education than in America. Why is that?
