Coulter Schools O’Reilly — OBAMA Lies About ObamaCare In U.S. Congress

April 282010

“The spin stops here ’cause we’re lookin’ out for you.” So says Bill O’Reilly every time he closes his show. But WHO is he saying it to? Ordinary and upright Americans? No.

It seems O’Reilly is lookin’ out for the seamier and slimier elements of society. This time, it’s communist & thieving Democrats and liar & illegal-alien Barack Obama (AKA Barry Obama, AKA Barry Soetoro). Fortunately, guest Ann Coulter takes him to task with facts, truth, and common sense. O’Reilly can only posture and pout.

Bravo, Ann! YOU’RE the one who’s lookin’ out for us!

Fox News is “fair & accurate” and reports what the rest of the (Liberal propaganda) media MOCKS or CENSORS:

ANN: “I think the important issue to keep in mind is, has the government ever run anything better than the private sector has in the free market, and the answer is no, and Liberals keep avoiding having that argument by throwing out this word salad of ‘the public option’ and ‘triggers’ and ‘the health exchange’. The reason you have trouble with your health insurers right now is because it’s a partial monopoly created by the government. I mean, it was quite audacious of President Obama to complain last night about some states having only three health insurers. Well, why is that? Oh, that’s right, because of government intervention …”

BILL: “You told our guys that you liked that South Carolina ‘pin-head’, that Congressman Wilson is his name?”

ANN: “Yeah!”

BILL: “Yelling out at President Obama. Now, what if a Liberal Democrat had yelled out at President Bush at one of his speeches? You wouldn’t like that?”

ANN: “Well they DO, they DO all that time, and the difference is they just ‘boo’ generally. Last night, we had Obama telling lie after lie, and by the way you began your ‘Talking Points’ by saying you just want to be able to speak for the fair minded people, well here how about making this for ‘fair minded’. Just take two examples of what Obama said last night, including the one that the greatest living Statesman, Representative Joe Wilson, ”

BILL: [laughs out loud]

ANN: ” responded to, and that is this bill will NOT cover abortion, it will NOT cover illegal aliens.”

BILL: “That’s what he said.”

ANN: “There are allot of arguments I could make on that but I’m only going to give the fair minded viewers their one argument. Republicans introduced amendments that would NOT allow coverage under the ‘Health Care Bill’ for illegal aliens. Democrats – voted – that – amendment – down. Republicans introduced amendments that would say the ‘Health Care Bill’ won’t cover abortions. The – Democrats – voted – that – amendment – down.”

BILL: “Woah, woah, woah, wait, wait, though. Right, that’s true what you say, but now Obama’s on the record, in front of the country, as saying ‘no illegal alien coverage’, ‘no money for abortion’. So, he’s locked down.”

ANN: “He can say he’s a Martian.”

BILL: “He’s locked down.”

ANN: “Yeah, but the Democrats voted against it.”

BILL: “He can say whatever he wants, but if he lies he loses. If he lies he loses.”

ANN: “Okay, well, that was a lie, and that was what Representative Joe Wilson was saying.”

Do you want "Public Option" Health Care ?

April 272010

Congress and the Senate are trying to craft "Health Care Insurance Reform" and might include a public option.
Are you in favor of this?
Why or why not?

No no no no no no no no and NO

It will cost too much
Not enough doctors to go around
Long waiting lists for tests and surgery
Government peering into our health records
No more research on drugs and and treatment, new technology for medical machines
Many more reasons.

It may work in some small countries but not big US and with our population.

We need some kind of health care reform but this is not the answer

Buchanan Pushes To Open Health Care Talks To Public

April 252010

Buchanan To Force House Vote On Sunshine Resolution

Announces He Will File Discharge Petition To Open Health Care Talks To Public

Washington, D.C. U.S. Rep. Vern Buchanan (FL-13), sponsor of the Sunshine Resolution requiring public access to negotiations on the health care bill, announced today that he will file a discharge petition Wednesday to force a House vote on his proposal.
In Florida we have one of the strongest right-to-know laws aimed at ensuring that government leaders conduct the peoples business in public, said Buchanan. No private meeting, no backroom deals, no secrecy. Its time to shine some Florida Sunshine on the Halls of Congress.
Back-room deals are being made to create a massive new entitlement program that seeks to overhaul a sixth of our countrys entire economy. Buchanans resolution demands that meetings to discuss the final details of the health care reform bill be conducted in the open under the watchful eye of the American people.

Health care reform is one of the largest public policy reforms taken up by Congress in generations, added Buchanan. If enacted, the final bill will impact the lives of all Americans. With so much at stake, any conference committee or meetings held to determine the content of sweeping national health care legislation should be held in full public view, not behind closed doors.

Buchanan will file the discharge petition tomorrow with House Minority Leader John Boehner to bring H. Res. 847 to the House floor for a vote.

Legislation as critical as the Democrats health care bill – with its Medicare cuts and tax hikes – shouldnt be slapped together in a backroom deal, said Boehner. Rep. Vern Buchanans resolution requiring the negotiations be public is the right thing to do.
Buchanans resolution was introduced in October of 2009 and is cosponsored by a bipartisan group of more than 150 lawmakers.
Once a majority of the House, 218 Members, has signed the discharge petition, it is placed on the House calendar over the objections of the House Speaker and Majority Leader. Sweeping campaign finance reform legislation was the last bill to be brought to the House floor through a discharge petition. The measure was then passed by the House and signed into law.

Will the Democrats resort to the Nuclear Option to push their Health Care Bill with the Public Option through?

April 252010

Congress?

Of course they will. They don’t give a rats behind about what the people want. they only want socialism.

What is the "public option" when referring to health care?

April 232010

I’m just wondering. Also why do most republicans in congress disagree with it?
wow thanks so much guys for answering my questions! I wish i could give you all ten points for real. I’d say richard summed it up the best, but really thank you.

It would be minimal health care coverage operated by the government that people could choose to purchase instead of private health care. It would be cheaper than private healthcare, but you would have less coverage. It would be kind of like medicare, only anyone (not just retirees) could get it, and it would cost something.

HealthCare Myth: Congress did not exempt themselves

April 222010

Linda Douglass of the White House Office of Health Reform answers a question from outside the recent town hall in New Hampshire on why Congress voted to exempt themselves from reform. This is a myth: there is no exemption and there has not been any such vote. To the contrary, reform gives all Americans access to an insurance exchange much like the one Congress has enjoyed, and just like Congress, Americans will be free to make their own choices.
